CHD2 Awareness Day
THE IMPORTANCE OF CHD2 AWARENESS DAY Awareness days are not just an opportunity to spread the word about a disorder; they provide an opportunity to engage the community of patients and families affected by a disease and to help accelerate research. This Awareness Day, February 2nd, please help CCC continue to build on our mission to improve the lives of those affected by CHD2-related disorders by increasing education, building community, and accelerating research to uncover a cure.
In 2024, CCC hosted a Meeting of the Minds scientific conference, connected with 200 new CHD2 families, provided research funding to understand CHD2 methylation signatures, attended/presented at conferences in the US and the UK, and worked with our team of volunteers to improve the lives of those affected by CHD2-related disorders.
We are excitedly preparing for our upcoming Family and Scientific Conference in Denver, Colorado, in June 2025 where we will bring together families and researchers from around the world. Also in 2025, we will expand our educational materials, provide new research grants, host community webinars, and fund travel scholarships to attend the Family Conference.
But we need your help to make all of these things happen!
We invite you to help CCC raise $150,000 this CHD2 Awareness Day. You can run a race, sell some crafts, organize a night out with friends -- the sky’s the limit! Donations will help support our work to improve the lives of those affected by CHD2-related disorders.
Thank you for your generous support!
