In spring 2023, the Coalition to Cure CHD2 polled the CHD2 community about what its research priorities were. The results showed that the overwhelming concern for the respondents was seizure control. This finding requires a deeper study, but correlates to our understanding that those with CHD2-related disorders have worsening seizures as they age, rather than improvements as usually seen in childhood epilepsies.
